The Story Behind AXIS

Every collection begins with a question.

For AXIS, that question was simple: what if the principles of architecture could shape the objects we use every day?

We looked to the language of buildings—to the way lines create order, proportions establish balance, and repetition produces rhythm. From this study, a single graphic module emerged.

Applied across plates, bowls and cups, this module creates continuity without uniformity. Its repetition follows the form of each object, framing the porcelain while leaving space for the material itself to remain present.

AXIS is defined by restraint. Every line has a purpose. Every interval is considered. Nothing is added simply for decoration.

The collection was designed as a complete visual language: one architectural idea translated across different objects and scales. Each piece can stand alone, yet together they form a coherent table.

AXIS marks the first expression of Danaeve’s approach to contemporary tableware—objects shaped by rhythm, proportion and purposeful simplicity.
